Mr. Herbert M. Boleyn, age 84, of Ashford went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 3, 2017.

 

Herb was born on July 21, 1932, in Arlington, Iowa to Kenneth and Mattie Boleyn. He worked for the Postal Service for about 30 years and was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for over 40 years.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Norbert Boleyn; his sister, Doris Dage; his oldest son, Kenneth Boleyn, and his oldest daughter, Sandra Maddox.

 

He is survived by his wife, Lonelle Boleyn of Ashford, AL, and his six children, Lynn Wilbanks (caregiver) of Ashford, (John – Eustis) of FL, Janet Watson (caregiver) of Panama City, FL (Roger), Timothy Boleyn (Robin) of Garland, TX, Joyce Lawson (Tim) of Garland, TX, Lori Lovett of Wylie, TX, and Jay Boleyn (Chris) of Leesburg, FL; eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Love Hill Assembly of God with Reverend Turvin, Reverend Wood, Reverend Peacock, and Chaplain Doug Shumate officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Burial will be at Howard Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Family will be accepting flowers.
