Mr. James Edward Waters, age 74, a resident of Taylor, passed away on Sunday July 24, 2016 at his home among his loved ones at 610 Berlin Road in Taylor.  He has gone to join the Lord along with his family and friends.  Mr. Waters was a loving, hardworking husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

James worked over 20 years in the paint and body business.  He also worked over 20 years and owned Waters Pest Control that was passed down by his father when he became ill.  His health forced him to retire then other family members took over the business.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford & Bessie Waters; brother, Tillman Waters; daughter, Sherri Sawyer and our heart, grandson, Jordan Taylor Waters.

Survivors include: wife of 44 years, Sue Waters; daughter, Jamie Womack; our precious granddaughter, Madalyn Womack; son-in-law, Michael Sawyer and great-granddaughter, our Angel, “Serenity Jordan” Taylor Waters.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alacare Hospice, 3379 W. Main Street, Dothan, AL 36305.

As per his request there will be no services.
