Mr. James Lorrin Granger, 86, of Cottonwood passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2019, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Granger officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Saturday, February 16, 2019.

 Mr. Granger was born August 12, 1932. He was a lifetime Director of the Alabama Cattleman’s Association and bought Pecans for 64 years. He was a peanut and cattle farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents W.C. and Clyde Granger, brother Bill Granger and sister Erin Granger Chambers.

Survivors include his wife Vida M. Granger, children Angie, James (Hannah), Clint (Jessica), brother Dr. John Granger, sisters Betty Ann Jones, Bernice Rogers, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
