Mr. Jeremy Thomas Sullivan, age 41, of Valley passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his residence.

 

He was born on February 2, 1975 in Dothan, Alabama.

 

Jeremy was an outstanding athlete during and after his high school years.   He was a proud and avid Auburn University Football fan.

 

He was a United States Army Veteran who served two tours of combat in Afghanistan.   

 

He attended theological seminary school and was later ordained as a minister.  He was a member of The Bridge Church in Beulah and served as a Youth Pastor.

 

He loved his God, his family, friends, and country.

 

He is survived by his wife, Tia Teague Sullivan; parents, Thomas G. and Janice Lamb Sullivan; children, Tyler Sullivan, Jacob Sullivan, Jeremiah Luke Sullivan; stepchildren, Kaitlyn Webber, Garrett Key, Ryan Key; siblings, Gary (Bonnie) Sullivan, Lindsey (Joey) Sullivan Dicapua, Misty (Scott) Hobbs Jowers; grandson, Jax Tyler Sullivan. 

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2:00P.M. (CST) 3:00P.M. (EST) at The Bridge Church with interment following in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.  Pastor Bill Bryan officiating.  His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00P.M. (CST) to 7:00P.M. (CST) 6:00P.M. (EST) to 8:00P.M. (EST).

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Jeremy's honor to St. Jude's Hospital or to Alacare Hospice in Opelika.
