Mr. Jerry Royce Hughes, age 74, of Alabaster passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

 

Born December 20, 1942 in Headland to the late Fred Hughes and Imaphene Dees, Mr. Hughes graduated from Headland High School and worked for the Alabama Power Company for over 25 years.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Hughes.

 

He is survived by his wife, Sandra B. Hughes, his daughters, Shae (Jason) Bailey and Sandy (Peter) Kostis; his son, Jerry Steven Hughes; his sister, Ramona Riche; his grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

 

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2017 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Chaplain Charles Goldsmith officiating.
