Mr. Joe F. Cobb, age 68, of Slocomb, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

 

Born June 9, 1948 in Dothan, AL, Mr. Cobb was an avid Alabama football fan who enjoyed gardening, and his dog, “Bo”. He loved spending time with his family; he was a loving father, and grandfather.

 

Mr. Cobb is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Pauline Kirkland Cobb; his wife, Janet Cobb; one brother, Larry Cobb; one sister, Maxine Pybus.

 

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Baxley (Kevin) of London, KY; step-daughters, Sherri Seice (William) of Dothan, and Trish Allen of Commerce, GA; sons, Gary Cobb of Hartford, AL; stepson, Bryan Allen of Commerce, GA; sisters, Barbara Hughes (Sonny) of Dothan, Ruby Creamer (Ricky) of Dothan, Paula Shingler (Ted) of Donaldsonville, GA, Linda Brown (Warren) of Dothan; brothers, James Cobb of Dothan, Terry Cobb (Debbie) of Webb, AL, Mike Cobb of Dothan; grandchildren, Storm Baxley, and Joshua Cobb; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, July 8, 2016 at Big Creek Methodist Church Cemetery with Chaplain John Gunter officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Family will be accepting flowers.
