Mr. Joel Angus Carpenter, age 81, a resident of Eufaula, AL passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at SAMC.

The family request no services at this time.

Mr. Carpenter served one tour in the US Army, and was a cross country truck driver until his retirement. Joel was a kind hearted individual and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Carpenter, wife and two brothers.

Survivors include: two sisters, Nina Carolyn Brock, Point St. Joe, FL and Linda Carpenter, Ashford, AL.
