Obituary:  Mr. Joseph Donell Scarborough

 

Mr. Joseph Donell Scarborough of Slocomb passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Flowers Hospital.  He was 66. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Rev. Brad Price officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. 

Mr. Scarborough was born March 5, 1951 in Houston County to the late Thomas Hoyt and Barbara Merrill Gibson Scarborough. 

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Scarborough, Slocomb; children: Michael Scarborough (Julie), Trussville, Brandon Scarborough (Shelley), Slocomb, Rhiannon Keel (John), Slocomb, Rebecca Fields (Calvin), Slocomb and Hugh Little (Jessica), Headland;  grandchildren: Hayden, Kohen, Reese, Will, Sam, Taylor, Colton, Watson, Jackson, Evan, Chloe and Lydia; one brother, Tom Scarborough (Jean), Slocomb; other extended family and friends.
