Mr. Kenneth Butler Kelly, age 73, of Harpersville, Alabama and formerly of Dothan, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018.

Born August 23, 1945 in Hartford, Alabama to the late Horace Kelly and Beatrice Butler Kelly, Kenneth was a 1963 graduate of Dothan High School. He graduated from The University of Alabama in 1968 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Kenneth was a member of the Chelsea Church of Christ and was a devoted and faithful follower of Christ. He was a loving and devoted husband, brother, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Sadie Carolyn Nelson Kelly; his brother, James Earl Kelly; and his grandson, Aiden Wallace Ullrich.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Brenda Kelly; his daughter, Elizabeth Kelly Ullrich (Steven); his son, Paul Nelson Kelly (Julie); his brother, Jerry Kelly (Jane); his grandchildren, Sadie, Owen, and Gibson Kelly and Luke and Caroline Ullrich; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, September 20, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Revered John McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 1 PM, prior to the service.
