Mr. Oslar Dewitt (O.D.) Warren of Dothan passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, He was 86.


 


Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Willis officiating.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday, one hour prior to the service.


 


Mr. Warren was born November 6, 1930 to the late Oslar McKinley Warren and Lucy Wideman. He was a member of Ridegcrest Baptist Church. He was a member of Dothan Rotary Club for 44 years. Past president of Dothan Country Club, and a member of the Church Golf Group. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.


 


Beside his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Mike Warren; daughter-in-law, Dixie Warren; brother, Willie Warren; sister, Peggy Edmondson; brother-in-law, George Edmondson.


 


He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Howard Warren of Dothan; sons, James O. Warren of Dothan, and Robert D. Warren (R.D.) (Donna) of Montgomery; brother, Charles Warren (Aileen) of Auburn; grandchildren, Leigh Lawrence (Josh), Michael Warren (Jennifer), Shaylor Warren (Jennifer); Ryan Warren (Angie), W.D. Warren; Courtney Scarborough (Brandon Yost), Alana Stephens, Vanessa Stephens, Hannah (Renzzo) Huaytalla, and 11 great-grandchildren.



 


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 1231 Fortner St. Dothan, AL 36301, or to the charity of your choice.
