Mr. Paul Thomas Goodson of Marianna, Florida passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016, at Bay Medical Center. He was 73.

 

Paul was born in Alabama, on September 27, 1943, to N.H. Goodson & Esther Thomas.  Mr. Goodson was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served his country in the Air Force working as an Air Craft Mechanic; he was also served in the Civil Service for over 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He was also an avid Seminole fan.

 

Mr. Goodson, besides his parents is preceded in death by his two brothers, Wayne Goodson, and Donald Goodson.

 

Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy Goodson of Panama City, FL; two sons, Tommy Goodson (Cheryl) of Prattville, AL, Bruce Goodson (Yolanda) of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Christi Park (Dustin) of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Morgan, Madison, Ethan, and Brenna; sisters, Evelyn Ward (Odell) of Marianna, FL; brothers, Tim Goodson (Merlene) of Marianna, FL, McCoy Goodson (Wilma) of Marianna, FL, and James Goodson (Nina) of Marianna, FL.

 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time, from 1- 2 PM from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
