Mr. Ralph Clark Dawsey, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. He was 86.

 

Born July 11, 1931 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Walter Eugene and Emily Daisy Clark Dawsey, Ralph served his country in the United States Air Force. He joined his wife of 67 years in heaven and will be remembered as a faithful and loving husband, dad, and grandfather.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ella Mae Dawsey and an infant brother.

 

Survivors include his daughters, Dianne (Alton) Holloway, Deborah (Kim) Shores; his sons, Thomas (Pam) Dawsey, Raleigh (Helen) Dawsey; son Russell (Christy) Dawsey; his brothers, Charlie Dawsey, David Dawsey, Bill Dawsey, and Chunky Dawsey; his sister, Janie Atwell; and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, one hour prior to the service.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington DC 20090-8018.
