Mr. Raymond Dickens, age 77, a resident of Houston County passed away July 26, 2016 at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. 

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with the Emerald Coast Hospice Chaplin officiating and Kendall Glover directing. Flowers will be accepted. 

Mr. Dickens was born on September 28, 1938 in Houston County the son of James Robert Dickens and Riena Hicks Dickens. He was a lifelong resident of Houston County where he farmed most of his life. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Henry Dickens, David Dickens, Charles Dickens, Bill Dickens; sister, Myrtle Lewis. 

Survivors include: two sisters, Merle McIntyre, Ashford, AL, Martha Dickens, Cowarts, AL; brother, Paul Dickens, Winter Haven, FL; several nieces and nephews; several grandchildren. 

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
