Mr. Rickey Edward Bush, a resident of Bonifay, Florida and formerly of Ozark, died Thursday, January 3, 2019.  He was seventy-one years old.


Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 7, 2019, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark with Reverend Mike Parker officiating.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark Directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Monday from 9:30 P.M. until service time.


Mr. Bush was born October 13, 1947 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Roy Edward Bush and Ladine Love Bush.  He was a 1967 graduate of Carroll High School in Ozark. Mr. Bush worked with Civil Service at Tyndall Air Force Base for thirty-seven years.  He was an avid Alabama fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Wilkinson.


Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Adams (Wesley) of Chipley, Chelsea Herndon (TJ) of Bonifay; one son, Blakely Bush (Nancy) of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Sam Adams, Theodore Bush, and Brigham Herndon; three sisters, Renita Bowers (Buddy) of Elba, Saubrena Lewis (Ronnie) of Ozark, Ricki Bush of Los Angeles; two brothers, Lynn Allen of Luverne and Anthony Akridge (Judy) of Dothan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.


Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice, 1330 South Blvd.,  Chipley, Florida 32428.
