Mr. Roger Dale Robinson, age 66, a resident of Headland, passed away on September 8, 2017 at his residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chris McCall officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing. 

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Glover Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the services.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, 255 Jerry Drive, Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mr. Robinson was born on January 9, 1951 in Dothan to the late James Albert and Hazel Childree Robinson.  He was employed for 27 years as a local delivery truck driver for Yellow Freight (now known as YRC).  Mr. Robinson was an avid pet lover.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James Paul Robinson and Delbert Cleve Robinson.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years Barbara Robinson of Headland; two sons Greg (Sharon) Robinson and Jeffrey Robinson both of Headland; two daughters Amanda Robinson and Jennifer Robinson both of Dothan; two step-sons Chris (Jeanice) McCall of Ashford and Jimmy (Heather) McCall of Dothan; one step-daughter Danielle (Jeffery) Shelley of Ashford; a sister Gloria Fears of Malone, FL; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren;  and two special pets Tinker Bell and Abby.

Pallbearers will be Chris Robinson, Eric Birge, Darryle Madison, Jr., Jeffery Shelley, Elijah Shelley and Ricky Woodham.
