Mr. Ronnie Gilmore of Enterprise, AL passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.  He was 67.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Johnny Belcher officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.

Ronnie was born October 26, 1949 in Coffee County, AL.  He was retired from the postal service after 34 years and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Gilmore and Ebbie Thomas Gilmore; four brothers:  Joe Gilmore, Alfred Gilmore, Larry Gilmore and Billy Gilmore; two sisters:  Mable Stokes and Barbara Byrd and one son, William D. Powell, Jr.

 

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Donna F. Gilmore of Enterprise; son, Timothy G. Gilmore (Melissa) of San Antonia, TX; daughter, Tina L. Gilmore of Enterprise; stepson, Michael Craig Cron (Robin) of New Brockton, AL; stepdaughter, Tammy Weaver (Thomas) of Cusseta, GA; sister, Gayle Boyd of Dothan, AL and six grandchildren:  Tiffany Gilmore, Ashley Gilmore, Thomas (T.J.) Weaver Jr., Mckenzie Cron, Jayme Cron and Kayleb Cron.
