Mr. Royce Lee McKinney of Samson, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 14 at the age of 61.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Samson, Alabama with the Rev. Randy Kuhn officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  Visitation will be held at the Church, Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time.

Royce was born October 20, 1957 in Germany to the late Roy D.M. McKinney and Miriam Crutchfield McKinney.  He proudly served his country in the US Army in Germany.  He was a well-known handyman and especially known for painting.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Samson First Baptist Church Women's Ministry or the Samson Baptist Academy. 

 He was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Jeffrey McKinney and grandmother, Ola Crutchfield.

Survivors; His mother; Miriam McKinney, Samson, Alabama, one brother; Ronald McKinney (Kim) ; one sister; Jeannie Stack and several nieces and nephews.
