 Theron William Manning passed away at Noland Hospital on November 16, 2017 after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Fred Bacher officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Sunday, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

Theron loved to hunt, fish, hunt Indian arrowheads and historic relics and travel. He was born on December 6, 1945, raised in Victoria, Alabama moving to Florala, Alabama at a young age. He graduated from Florala High School in 1964. After high school he went on to become an electrician and worked in electrical construction until he retired.

Theron was preceded in death by his mother Beatrice Manning and father Eric Manning, brother Travis Manning and his son Theron Wesley Manning.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Cotton Manning, daughter Tammy Wertz, son-in-law Tedd Wertz, a granddaughter Rebeccah Wilson, a grandson Jeffrey Wilson, a brother Thomas Manning, sisters-in-law Anne Manning and Faye Manning and many loving nieces and nephews.
