Mr. Tony D. Marshall of Dothan passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 with his family by his side. He was 71.

Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Hosea Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Midland City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, August 29, 2016. Flowers will be accepted.

 Tony was born in Dale County August 14, 1945 to the late Emmit and Mozelle Marshall. He was employed at Dunbarton for 33 years until his retirement in 2005. Tony enjoyed fishing, camping, Roll Tide Football and sitting on the porch chewing tobacco.

He is preceded in death by four brothers Gerald, Bill, Charles and Emmitt Jr. Marshall and one sister Kathleen Creel.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lila Mae Marshall; sons Timmy (Patti) Marshall; Steve Marshall; daughters Cindy (Ray) Robinson; Sandra Marshall; sisters Marthareen Harris, Winnie Ruth McDonald, grandchildren Emily Robinson, Buck Robinson, Alexis Stewart, Devan Marshall, Aidan Marshall, Lake Strickland, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be friends and co-workers of Dunbarton Corporation.
