Mr. Treadwell “Slim” Cochran, age 72, a resident of Dothan, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018, at his home.

A Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Larry’s Bar-B-Q Eastside Banquet Room.  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Covenant Hospice, 1512 West Main Street, Dothan, AL, 36301.

Mr. Cochran was born in Dothan on October 11, 1946 to Marcus and Dena Russell Cochran.  He grew up in Geneva County and later moved to Dothan.  Mr. Cochran retired as a service technician for the City of Dothan following 28 years of service.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Earl Cranston Cochran and a sister Martha Cochran Morris.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years Mary Walker Cochran; 2 sons Mark Wayne Hall (Ferri) of Dothan and John Michael Wells (Janis) of Ashford; 2 daughters Susan Medelez of Dothan and Hazel Trudena “Dee” Gamble (Ken); 3 brothers Billy Cochran (Joyce) and Walter Cochran of Conroe, TX, and Raymond Cochran (Karen) of Dothan; 2 sisters Iva Cochran of Dothan and Margaret Cochran Creamer of Geneva; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
