Mrs. Betty Jean Boutwell, age 81, a resident of Dothan passed away early Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Harden officiating and Kendall Glover directing. Burial will follow at Grace Point Church, 3225 Headland Ave, Dothan, AL 36303.

The family will be receiving friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2018 at Glover Funeral Home. Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave, Dothan, AL 36303.

Betty was born on January 6, 1937 in Ashford, AL the daughter of John Thomas Cunningham and Flora Mae Cunningham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Grover “C” Reeder, J.E. “Buddy” Boutwell, daughter, JoAnn Reeder Todd, two brothers, James and Edward Cunningham.

She is survived by a son, Anthony Reeder (Christine); three daughters, Alicia Mills (Kenneth Powell), Laura Lea Reeder Thaxton, Linda Hildreth (Carl); sister, Merle Mitchell; eleven grandchildren, Victoria Lea Morris Jones, Belinda Weaver Buck, Robert Dyson, Bianca Reeder Smith, April Dyson, Ashley Dyson, Rico Thaxton, Jasmine Thaxton, Joshua Todd, Melinda Underwood, Summer Casey; great-grandchildren, Russell Jones, Destin Smith and several others.  

Pallbearer’s will be: Robert Dyson, Rico Thaxton, Nathan Reeder, Jasper Reeder, Frank Powell, Enrique Lucario.
