Mrs. Bobbie L. German of Madrid passed away Monday, December 4, 2017. She was 81.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. Friday, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. German is preceded in death by her parents Henry M. Messer, Sr. and Katie L. McCord Messer, and husband  Jack Hickman.

Survivors include sisters Martha Brooks, Jean Boyett (Hubert), brothers Henry Messer, Jr. (Norma), Doug Messer (Betty), Benny Messer (Brenda), several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
