Mrs. Donna Elaine McLure Jones, age 62, passed away July 30, 2018 at her home in Enterprise, AL surrounded by her family. 


Donna was born in Troy, AL, graduating from Charles Henderson High School in 1974. She was a member of the CHHS Blue Machine Marching Band and the Charioteers Drum and Bugle Corp.  She attended Auburn University.  She was retired from Regions Bank in Enterprise.  The family will be at the home of their daughter Lindsay Harvin, Candlewood Drive in Enterprise


She was preceded in death by her son, Hamilton McLure Jones; father, Frank Hamilton McLure; parents-in-law, George and Idell Jones; and brother-in-law, Tim Meeks.


Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Gary Dale Jones of Enterprise; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Evan Harvin of Enterprise; grandsons, Jones Tennyson Harvin and Braxton McLure Harvin of Enterprise; mother, Juawana Wilkes McLure of Troy, sister, Debbie McLure Darby of Troy; nieces and their husbands, Brooke and Jason Terry, Lauren and Fred Prawius of Troy, great nieces, Abbi Kay Terry, Lexie Terry, Charlee Claire Prawius of Troy and Olivia Prawius of Marbury; Brothers-in-law and their wives, Billy and Jetta Jones of Enterprise; Terry and Connie Jones of Prattville


Services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home in Enterprise. Visitation will start at 1:00 with the service following at 2:00. Dr. Michael Mynatt will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetary in Enterprise 


Pallbearers will be Billy Jones, Terry Jones, Mitch Jones, James Allen, Fred Prawius, Jason Terry, Alan Harvin, and Andrew Locklar.
