Mrs. Dorothy Jerlene Arnold, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Newville. She was 85.

 

Born February 28, 1933 in Hickory Tavern, SC to the late Joe and Carrie Bessie Ross Lathen, Dorothy enjoyed fishing and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and her dog, Tiny.

 

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Arnold; her son, Roger Keith Arnold; her daughter, Vickii Johnson; and a brother and a sister.

 

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Mary Harden (Donald), Rita Jones (David), Terri Peters (James), and Shirley Peters (Dennis); her son, William Arnold; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Haley Enfinger officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 7 PM, Monday, April 9, 2018 from Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

 

The family will be accepting flowers or contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice.
