Mrs. Dorothy Mae Habron Hickman, of Ashford, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Signature Health Care in Graceville, FL. She was 92.
Born February 21, 1925 in Ashford to the late Bob Habron and Jewell Mercer Habron, Dorothy was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church. She enjoyed staying active by gardening, bowling, and playing dominoes.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Hickman.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Don Hickman; her brother, Roy (Bobbie) Habron; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from Enterprise Baptist Church with Reverend David Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Ashford Senior Center, 409 S County Road 33, Ashford, AL 36312 or Enterprise Baptist Church, 25 Enterprise Church Road, Ashford, AL 36312.
