Mrs. Elizabeth Rachel Brown Marshall, 93, of Ariton, died Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Dale Medical Center.


Funeral Services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, January 13, 2018, from Bethel Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jeff Downing officiating. Interment will follow in Ariton Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


Mrs. Marshall was born March 14, 1924 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Henry A. Brown and Rozellar Edwards Brown. She was an active member of Bethel Assembly of God Church where she served for over seventy years.  Mrs. Marshall worked with the Van Heusen Corporation and with Judy Bond Manufacturing Company in Ozark as a Supervisor for a combined thirty years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Judson Elmer Marshall, Sr.; three sisters, Vera Danner, Lois Sutton, Lillian Key; three brothers, Espy Brown, Melvin Brown, and Hubert Brown.


Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Archie Snell; one son and daughter-in-law, Judson Elmer Marshall Jr. and Cyllene; one granddaughter, Angela Marshall; three grandsons, Chris Snell (Laura), Jeff Marshall (Emily), William Snell (Tiffany); seven great grandchildren, Jonathan Guisinger, Nicholas Guisinger, Jud Marshall, Riley Marshall, Morgan Snell, Marshall Snell, and Molly Snell; two great-great grandchildren, Laken Guisinger and Lexi Guisinger; one brother, Jack Brown; brother-in-law, Melvin Marshall.
