Mrs. Eva Dell Francis Hardwick, of Dothan, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. She was 93.


 


Born June 15, 1925 in Smackover, Arkansas to the late Richard and Georgia Scott Freeman, Eva was a member of First Assembly of God Dothan. She will be remembered for her love of people and shopping. She loved reading her Bible and being a hostess, cooking and entertaining people. Eva also assisted with the family business, Hardwick Printing, working with her husband, Harold, until he retired.


 


In addition to her parents, Eva is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hardwick; her sisters, Ezelle Edwards and Irene Keene; and her brother, Britt Freeman.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, December 23, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Creel officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service. The family will be receiving flowers.


 


Eva is survived by her children, Judy (Jimmy) Yates, Jack (Monica) Hardwick, and Jeanie Hardwick; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Dickinson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
