Mrs. Georgia Katherine Shepard Hiersche, 71, of Ozark, Alabama, formerly of Lawton, Oklahoma, died Sunday, February 25, 2018.

Funeral services will be graveside 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ozark, Alabama with Reverend Charles Goldsmith officiating. Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.

Mrs. Hiersche was born March 8, 1946 in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late William Franklin Shepard and Frances Folsom Austin Shepard. At an early age her family moved to Lawton, Oklahoma where she graduated from Lawton High School. She graduated from Oklahoma University and was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Mrs. Hiersche worked at Fort Sill, Oklahoma with Civil Service until her retirement.

Survivors include two sisters, Ann Tubbs of Lawton, Oklahoma and Junia E. Shepard of Madison, Alabama.
