Joyce Louise Burke Morris, age 87, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 in Dothan, AL at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Slade Morris and Rev. Michael Wingersahn officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens Vince Sumrall, David Sumrall, Zach Morris, Brandon helms, William Nixon, Hunter Nixon, Bryce Jones, and Gage jones serving as casketbearers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Morris was born in Donalsonville, GA on October 6, 1930. She was the daughter of Sylvanus Burke and Irene Rich Burke. She was a homemaker and loved to garden, fish and most of all loved her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Jim Morris (Sharon) of Dothan, AL, Randy Morris (Joanne) of Iron City, GA, Tony Morris (Deena) of Donalsonville, GA and her daughter, Gail (Troy) Palmer of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas Morris, and two brothers, Earl and Jack Burke.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
