Kathy Lowe, a resident of Gordon, died Monday, May 15, 2017 at Flowers Hospital. She was 71.

 

Graveside services for Mrs. Lowe will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Crestlawn Memorial cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11:15 AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. At all other times the family will gather at the home of her son, Keenan Lowe, 527 N. Co. Rd. 33, Ashford, AL 36312.

 

Mrs. Lowe was born October 9, 1945 to the late Ellis Houston and Ethel Martin Caraway. She was a 1964 graduate of Geneva County High School and later retired as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. Mrs. Lowe was a member of First Baptist in Gordon and loved the outdoors, flowers and cooking.

 

Mrs. Lowe is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Lowe.

 

Survivors include her children, Keenan Lowe (Tricia), Angie Lowe and Amanda Lowe; grandchildren, Kasey Lowe, Jordan Lowe, Emma, Ethan and Jaxon Morales; great grandchild, Ayden Searcy; brothers, Lemmie Logue, Ted Caraway; sister, Grace Smith; aunt, Martha Hancock; brother in law, Albert Lowe (Lisa); special furry friend, Ellie.
