Obituary:  Laura N. Faulkner

Mrs. Laura N. Faulkner of Enterprise passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 90.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 29, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Billly Latrell officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 29, 2017 beginning at 9:00am and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Faulkner was born March 3, 1927 in Newton, Alabama to the late Eason and Mary French Tyson. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Enterprise, Alabama as well as a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, her husband, Chester Faulkner; and her daughter, Lydia Nelson preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to First United Methodist Church in Enterprise, or Bellmont UMC Food Pantry, 3510 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond VA, 23234.

Survivors include one son, Chester C. Faulkner, Enterprise; one daughter, Verena McCall (Harold), Richmond, VA; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and   6 great-great grandchildren.
