Obituary:  Letie “Elise” Martin 

Mrs. Letie “Elise” Martin of Enterprise passed away February 12, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family. She was 80.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Jeff Peacock officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm.

Mrs. Martin was born December 13, 1936 in Winter Haven, Florida to the late John Broadus Sr. and Mary Helen Helms Norton.  In addition to her parents, one sister, Martha Cochran, as well as her husband of 37 years, Donald C. Martin  preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons: Johnny Ray Meredith( Leslie), Lester Meredith (Amy); grandchildren: Mandy Overton (Wes), Harlee Haynes, Maggie Haynes; great grandchildren: Sadie Overton, Brady Overton; two sisters: Mary Davis (Eugene), Diane McClung (Johnnie); four brothers: Jimmy Norton (Carol), David Norton (Joyce), J.B. Norton, Ralph Norton (Sheryl); one brother-in-law, Paul Cochran;  two aunts: Mildred Brown, Obbie Ruth Hutto, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
