Mrs. Louise Byrd Smith of Dothan, AL, formerly of Enterprise, AL, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home.  She was 89.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 16, 2018, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Minister Philip Box officiating.  Burial will follow in Enterprise City Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time.

Louise operated her own beauty shop in her home for many years.  She enjoyed working in her garden and was a member of the Garden Club.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Smith; son, Billy Smith; and an infant daughter, Elaine.

Survivors include her son, David Smith (Marsha), Dothan, AL; 2 grandchildren, Rachel Smith (Billy), Dothan, AL and Sonny Smith, Boynton Beach, FL
