Mrs. Lydia Miller Moore, a resident of Pinckard, AL., passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. She was 78.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Pinckard Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Woodall officiating. Interment will follow in Pinckard Memorial Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday beginning at 1:30 p.m. until service time.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Pinckard Baptist Church in memory of Lydia Moore.

Mrs. Moore was born in Clopton, Al. July 28, 1937 to the late James Ira Miller and Anna Snell Miller. She spent her early years growing up in Columbus, Georgia and later returned to Dale County. She was a graduate of Carroll High School.  She was a longtime resident of Pinckard, AL. and a faithful member of the Pinckard Baptist Church. She retired from Ford Motor Credit.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Eric Moore.

Surviving family include her husband, James Moore and a son, Mark Anthony Moore, both of Pinckard. Grandchildren Justin Moore, Megan Moore and Hannah Moore.
