Mrs. Mary Ellen Gabbard Flanagan, age 64, a resident of Slocomb, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Geneva with Glover Funeral Home directing.  Flowers will be accepted. 

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Glover Funeral Home prior to the services on October 10, 2017.

Mrs. Flanagan was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey to William and Rita Gabbard.  She received her BS in nursing and was of Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary John Flanagan and her sister Yvonne Pasley.

Survivors include her daughter Christina Flanagan of Slocomb, her son Gary John Flanagan of Geneva, her brother William Gabbard, 6 grandchildren Zachary Laoye, Carly Rose Laoye, Dylan Flanagan, Avery Paul, Daniel Paul and Brittany Tayor.
