Mrs. Mary Sue Sparks Evans, age 68, of Dothan passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Born May 2, 1949 in Indiana to the late Caesar and Alice Allen Sparks, Mary Sue worked as a floral designer in Orlando and Port St. Joe, Florida. Mary Sue was a Kentucky Colonial or a descendant of the original Kentucky settlers and a relative of Daniel Boone.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Montague Evans; her sons, Glenn Johnson of Dothan and Heath (Wendy) Johnson of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren, Desiree Johnson, Gabrielle Johnson, Joshua Johnson, and Hannah Johnson; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3 PM, Friday, August 11, 2017 from Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Doug Seale officiating.

The family will be accepting flowers.
