Obituary: Mrs. Myra Lee Miller Sfassie

 

Mrs. Myra Lee Miller Sfassie, a resident of Holmes County, FL, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was 81.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in the Esto Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Barley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Esto Community Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 p.m. until service time.

 

Mrs. Sfassie was born November 2, 1936 in Gary, IN to the late Oren and Helen Climer Miller. Myra was a woman of faith and exemplified Psalm 31: “Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.” She will be profoundly missed by her loving family.

 

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Eli Sfassie, Bonifay, FL; children: Kathleen Adams (Robert), Bonifay, FL and Robert Sfassie, Oak Hill, FL; grandchildren: Tiffany Beech, Ryan Sfassie and Dustin Sfassie; great grandchildren: Faith, Cace, Cade and Christian; siblings: Helen Godby, Oren Miller (Nancy) and Clariden Miller; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
