Obituary: Mrs. Peggy Aldrich Denny

 

Mrs. Peggy Aldrich Denny of Ariton passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at Nolan Hospital.  She was 55. 

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. John McCrummen officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. 

Mrs. Denny was born April 22, 1962 in Covington County to Lloyd and Belle Blackwell Aldrich. Peggy was affectionately known as "Pete" to her family, "Simply Sweet" to her husband and "Petesie" to her mother.  She was a proud veteran and served honorably in the United States Navy.  

Survivors include her husband of seven years, Scott Denny, Ariton; children: Amber Howell (Anthony), Jack, AL, Brandon Stafford, Montgomery; grandchildren: Lylie and Wyatt Denny, Gracie, Joshua, Nicholas, Akaisha, Azaezel Michael-LLoyd, James, and Bria, step children: Nicholas Denny (Katie), Huntsville and Dylan Denny, Ariton; parents: Lloyd and Belle Aldrich, Kinston; siblings: Marschelle Butcher (Dana), St. Charles, MI, Marleena Giacobone, Kinston and Mark Aldrich (Daphne), Andalusia, niece and nephew: Zander and Grayson; other nieces, nephews and additional extended family and friends.
