Obituary: Mrs. Ralphine Ann Justice

 

Mrs. Ralphine Ann Justice of Hartford passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 82. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February  13, 2018 at the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Slocomb with Rev. Robin Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  

Mrs. Justice was born January 1, 1936 in Red Bank, TN to the late Ralph and Annie Ruth Sharp Ward. For most of her life, Ralphine was a stay at home mom and housewife. Affectionately known as Mrs. Ralphine, she operated an in home daycare where she helped raise several children whom she loved as her own. She also worked at Van Heusen for a few years before her retirement.  Ralphine possessed a loving, kind and strong spirit and will be dearly missed. 

In addition to her parents, her husband, Joe Allen Justice; grandson, Kody Michael Stafford and brother, Ben Ward all preceded her in death. 

Survivors include two daughters: Karen Justice, Geneva and Jackie Battles, Geneva; two sons: Ronnie Justice (Patricia), Hartford and Jerry Joe Justice, Hartford; four grandchildren: Chelsie Justice, Nicholas Battles, Tyler Justice (Emily) and Tessa Battles; one great-granddaughter, Lillian Nicole Justice; one sister, Joan Ahlschwede and one brother, Ralph Ward (Jan); several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
