Mrs. Roberta "Robin" Jean Thomley of Slocomb passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 surrounded by family. She was 55.


 


She was a long time employee of Birdsong Peanuts in Newton.  She loved God, her family, animals, gardening, and fishing.


 


She was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Evelyn Jefferson, Fred C. Wiggins, and Edith Johnson; sister Tracy Gill.


 


Survivors include her husband Rickey Thomley of Slocomb; daughters Tabitha Williamson (Scotty) of Pansey, Heather Holman (Jeremy) of Oxford, Laura Jeans (Cory) of Savannah, GA, Rachal Gainey (Chris) of Geneva; sons Scott Clemmons (Candice) of Ashford, Joshua Thomley (Acacia) of Ogdon, UT; mother Shirley J. Johnson and “Daddy”  William "Joe" Johnson Sr of Theodore, father Robert Ayer (Frederica) of Daphne; sisters Rebecca M. Anthony (Randy) of Spanish Fort, Patricia A. Talamo (Eric) of Theodore, Michelle Myers (Dewayne) of Wilmer; brothers William "Joby" Johnson Jr (Christina) of  Amarillo, TX, Joseph D. Johnson Sr (Susan) of Mobile, Daron W. Johnson of Irvington, Robert Ayer Jr (Thomasina) of Mobile; grandchildren SeBasten Lee, Katelyn and Aria Clemmons; special friend Sheila Glover; and many beloved sisters-in-law brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and beloved friends. 



Funeral services will be held at 12 PM, May 9, 2017 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with C.J. Thomley and Gene Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Home Baptist Church Cemetery, with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted.
