Wynetta Gibson Lewis, age 75, of Dothan, passed away February 3, 2017.

 

Born January 3, 1942 in Dothan to the late Johnnie B Gibson and Hettie McGhee McGill, Wynetta was a member of Northview Christian Church. She was a devoted Christian, wife, and mother. She worked as a US Postal employee and was also an entrepreneur. She will be remembered as an amazing woman of love.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an adoptive aunt, Mary Carroll.

 

Wynetta is survived by her husband, William Lewis; her five children; one sister; and three brothers; numerous other relatives and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rosemary Klass officiating. Committal services will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
