Ms. Mary Juanita Knight, age 82, of Ashford, AL left for her heavenly home on February 3, 2017 while surrounded by her family.

 

She was a long time member of Wayside Baptist Church where over the years she served as the Children’s Director, Sunday school teacher, and sang in the church choir. Mary loved the Lord and spoke of his love for us until she no longer could. Mary was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Wiregrass Chapter, where she occupied several stations throughout the years.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Knight, Sr., son Danny Morrell Knight, mother, Maggie Weems Dyson, father, Carl Dyson, Sr. and brother, Carl Dyson, Jr.

 

She is survived by her son, Billy R. Knight, Jr. (Bobby), grandchildren, Randy Knight, Karla Knight Maddox (Brent), Chris Knight (Tori), and Misty Brantley (Clint), along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and very special friends Carol Enfinger and Joyce Brunson and her Sunday School Class.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, February 6, 2017 at Wayside Baptist Church with Brother Adam Habbard officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Ashford City Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 5-7PM at Wayside Baptist Church.

 

Family will be accepting flowers or contributions can be made to Wayside Baptist Church.
