Ms. Sarah Enice Sanderson Parrish, age 72, a resident of Ashford (formerly of Eufaula) passed away early Tuesday September 11, 2018 at the Noland Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday September 15, 2018 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating.  Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Eufaula with Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.

The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Saturday prior to services at Glover Funeral Home.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.

Ms. Parrish was born on September 7, 1946 in Eufaula the daughter of Earnest Edward Sanderson and Lucy Inez Bowman Sanderson.  She was a 1964 graduate of Georgetown High School in Georgetown, Georgia and was a graduate of Cosmetology school at Wallace College.  Ms. Parrish was retired as a cosmetologist after 25 years and she also taught at Riley Business College for 5 years.  She was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Ashford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene McDonald, granddaughter, Megan McDonald and a sister, Gerry Rice.

Survivors include: 4 sons, Bobby Wise (Suzie), Tampa, FL; Randy McDonald (Nancy), Ashford; James Lee Glenn (Cornelia), Tallahassee, FL; Anthony Glenn, Haines City, FL; 2 brothers, Sandy Sanderson (Carolyn), Headland; James Sanderson (JoAnn), Eufaula; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Wise, Caleb Wise, Trey McDonald, Cory Hayes, Allen Sanderson and Simon Sanderson.
