Myers J. Bruso, age 86, of Enterprise, AL, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 3, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church of Enterprise with Rev. Billy Cardwell officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M.

He served 20 years Army service, 21 years of Civil Service as an Air Traffic Control Instructor and 16 years of service at Wal-Mart at Enterprise.

He and his wife, Lorraine went on mission trips to include: Israel, India, Honduras, Alaska and Wyoming. He served as a Faithful member of First Assembly of God in Enterprise, since coming to this area in 1958. He also served as Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Superintendent. He served also as a Board Member and Missions Director for many years. He was a member of the local chapter of the Gideons.

He received a B. S. degree in Marketing from Troy State University.

Mr. Bruso was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Bruso; 2 grandchildren, Katie and Calvin Bruso; sister, Betty Bruso; and brothers, Leonard Bruso and Raymond Bruso.

Survivor include daughters, Myra J. Bruso, Enterprise, AL, Lorna B. Davis (Mark) Calera, AL; son, Myers J. Bruso II (Susan) Enterprise, AL; grandaughter, Zoie Mitchell, Enterprise, AL; grandsons, Chris Reagan, Columbia, SC, Andrew Davis, Calera, AL, Micah Davis, Calera, AL, Zane Mitchell, Enterprise, AL; great-granddaughter, Erica Reagan, W. Columbia, SC, great-grandson, Christopher Reagan, W. Columbia, SC sisters, Marjorie Peryea, N. Banger, NY, Dorothy Houle, Cornwall, CT, Patricia Ormsbee, Newton, CT, Peggy Houle, N. Bangor, NY, Isabelle McNeil, New Brockton, AL; brothers, Bernard Bruso, Apache Junction, AZ, Glen H. Bruso, Enterprise, AL.
