Nigel Archer Hurst of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Hartford Healthcare.  He was 87.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Larry Doster and Rev. Slade Stinson officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Lee Street Baptist Church, 603 East Lee St., Enterprise, AL  36330

Mr. Hurst was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; parents, Norma and Clyde Hurst; son, Randy Hurst; daughter-in-law, Laurie Hurst. 

Survivors include his son, Jerry Hurst, Enterprise, AL; granddaughter, Christina Hurst, Enterprise, AL; 3 grandsons, Jeffery Sims (Kimberly), Enterprise, AL, Brandon Hurst (Brandy), Red Level, AL, Bryan Hurst, Opp, AL; several great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces that he loved so dearly.
