Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL

 

Mrs. Lera Nell Jackson Hayes, 74, of Ozark, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017, in Flowers Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Saturday, September 9, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Pastor Greg Doss officiating. Interment will follow in Union Presbyterian Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until service time.

Mrs. Hayes was born October 17, 1942 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Arnold Duffie Jackson and Dixie Evelyn Wallace Jackson. She was a member of the Ozark First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Debbie and Wayne Phillips, and Connie Sexton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, DeWayne Hayes and Don and Jeanne Hayes all of Ozark; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Evie Lene and Joe Worley of Ozark, and Margie Dunn of Dothan; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Loyd and Kathy Jackson of Ozark, Wilmer Jackson of Dothan; five grandchildren, Melanie (Kyle) Bolling, Michael Smith, Katie Hayes, Jackson Hayes, Emily Hayes; three great grandchildren, Porter Bolling, Tanner Bolling and Zane Bolling.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Ozark First Assembly of God Missions, 170 Country Club Drive, Ozark, Alabama  36360.
