Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL


 


Mr. Benny Kevin Casey, 53, of Ozark, died Saturday evening, August 27, 2016, at his home following a brief battle with cancer.


Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, August 30, 2016, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark with Reverend Jim Hill and Reverend Floyd Ingram officiating, eulogy by Mr. Tony Payne. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


Mr. Casey was born May 21, 1963 in Fort Rucker, Alabama to Delpha Omega Glover Casey and the late Benny Floyd Casey.  He served in the United States Army National Guard until his retirement. He worked with various railcar businesses for the past thirty years.  Kevin was an avid Alabama fan, NASCAR fan, loved golf and fishing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cecil and Ruth Casey; his maternal grandparents, Homer and Will Mae Glover; several aunts and uncles.


Survivors include his mother, Omega Glover Casey of Ozark; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Gaige Crooms of Minot, North Dakota; one son, Arther “Justin” Walters of Ozark; one step-daughter and her husband, Tiffany and Adam Howell of Black, Alabama; one sister and brother-in-law, Keisha Casey Whitman and Mike of Ozark; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenny and Senia Casey, Kyle and Kim Casey all of Ozark; three step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Brian (Alicia), Ben (Amber), and Meghan McNeal, Kaiti and Kennon Casey, Kole and Konner Casey, Dustin and Ashley Whitman; three great nieces and one great nephew; a special friend, Amanda Brackin; many special friends and co-workers.
