Mr. James Owen Vaught, Sr., 77, of Ozark, died Sunday, December 3, 2017.

A memorial service for Mr. Vaught will be held 1:00 P. M. Friday, December 8, 2017, from the House of Prayer Church of God, 719 Matthews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360. Pastor Barry Clark will be officiating.    Condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com 

Mr. Vaught was born April 9, 1940 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late Chester and Gladys Vaught.  He served in the United States Air Force and was a retired truck driver.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Green; one sister, Lula Frisby; and one brother, Bobby Vaught.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Faye “Jan” Wallace Vaught of Ozark; two sons, Craig (Lise`) Vaught of Portland, Oregon, and Joseph L. Vaughn of Ozark; one son-in-law, Bo Green of Lapine, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Cortney (Cory) Petty, Hunter Green, Dalton Green, Seth Vaught, Maggie Vaught, Haylie Vaught, and Preston Vaught.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the House of Prayer Church of God, 719 Matthews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama  36360.
