Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL

 

Mr. Terry Daniel Wallace, 71, of Ozark, died Tuesday night, May 9, 2017, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, May 12, 2017, from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Reverend James Bell and Reverend Joe Underwood officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P. M.

Mr. Wallace was born May 15, 1945 in Dale County to the late Tulyer B. “Tip” Wallace and Gladys Jewell Nolin Wallace.  He was a local businessman for over fifty years and served as Dale County Commissioner for District 1. 

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nina Ziglar Wallace of Ariton; three sons, Daniel and Patricia Wallace of Ozark, Darren Wallace and Dr. Luna Sy of Ozark, Dennis Wallace of Ozark; one daughter, Dana and Shane Virone of New Market, Alabama; four grandchildren, Meghan Wallace of Chipley, Florida, Mackenzie Wallace of Panama City, Florida, Connor Wallace of Ozark, and Joseph Virone of New Market, Alabama; one great grandchild, Athena Wallace of Panama City, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and Andy Kraeger of Ozark; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Shirley Wallace of Pulaski, Tennessee.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Dale Medical Center, 126 Hospital Avenue, Ozark, Alabama   36360.
