Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL

 

Mrs. Evelyn Eloise Hall Cooper, 84, of the Marley Mill Community of Dale County, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral services will be graveside 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 12, 2017, in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Timothy Davis officiating.  Interment will follow, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Friday from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.

Mrs. Cooper was born November 16, 1932 in Blue Springs, Alabama to the late Wade M. Hall and Frances McDonald Hall.  She lived most of her life in Dale County where she worked in the office of the Dale County Probate Judge. Her time was spent in the mothering of two generations of Cooper children.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Kevin Cooper; one sister, Lillian Louise Hall Barefield; and one brother, Charles Hall.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Charles Arnice Cooper, Jr. of the Marley Mill Community of Ozark; one daughter, Renae Mundt of Montgomery; one son, Steve Cooper of LaGrange, Georgia; one sister, Burnell Hall Richardson of Ariton; seven grandchildren, Chip Cooper, Dustin Cooper, Brittany Young, Taylor Mundt, Dalton Mundt, Haylee Childers, and Victoria Davidson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Attn. Tribute Department, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105; or to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P. O. Box 1170, Dothan, Alabama 36303.
